Website and API monitoring that tells you what broke

We request your URL from our servers every 5 minutes, or every minute on Pro, check the status code, measure the response time and email you when it stops answering. Each failed check records why, so you know where to look first.

The reason, not just “down”
Timeout, domain not found, connection refused, SSL error or the exact HTTP status: the dashboard shows why each monitor is down.
No alert for a single blip
A monitor counts as down after three failed checks in a row. You get one email when it goes down and one when it recovers.
Your rules for each monitor
Expected status code, HTTP method, timeout, redirects and certificate validation, set for every URL.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste a URL

Any public website, page or API endpoint. There is nothing to install.

  2. 2

We check it around the clock

Every 5 minutes on Free and every minute on Pro, recording the status and the response time.

  3. 3

    You get an email

When it goes down, and again when it is back up.

Questions and answers

Every 5 minutes on the Free plan and every minute on Pro. Every check records the status code and the response time.

After three failed checks in a row, so a single network hiccup doesn't wake you up. You get another email when the monitor recovers.

Yes. Choose the HTTP method and the status code you expect, for example 200 for a health endpoint. With keyword monitoring you can also require a word in the response.

No, we only check public addresses and never request private or internal IPs. For jobs and servers the internet can't reach, use a heartbeat monitor: your job calls us instead.
