Catch the errors that still return 200 OK
A server can answer fast with a perfect status code and still show an error message, an empty template or the wrong page. Keyword monitoring reads the response on every check and alerts you when the content is wrong.
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Something went wrong
- Must contain
- Alert when an expected text is missing, such as “Add to cart”, your company name or ok in a health endpoint.
- Must not contain
- Alert when a text appears that shouldn't, such as “Database error”, “Fatal error” or “Under maintenance”.
- Part of every check
- It runs with each uptime check. When the rule fails, the monitor goes down with the reason “keyword missing” or “unwanted keyword found”.
